On August 6, 2025, at Horien Biotechnology, we firmly believe that people are a company's most important asset.
To help our migrant worker colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds better integrate into the company and their lives in Taiwan, we arranged a warm and friendly lunchtime gathering, inviting colleagues to enjoy traditional Taiwanese dishes—oil rice and sesame oil chicken—allowing cultural understanding to begin with their taste buds.
During the meal, everyone happily shared their festival customs and hometown stories, and listened to each other's experiences in work and life.
This was more than just a meal; it was a sincere cultural dialogue. We see diversity and learn to appreciate differences, making every "difference" in the workplace a bridge for mutual understanding and connection.
This kind of action is an important part of our implementation of the "Social" aspect of ESG.
Regarding our employees, we practice the principles of "Diversity, Equity & Inclusion" (DEI)— We are committed to creating a fair, respectful, and non-discriminatory work environment, allowing every colleague to develop with peace of mind, participate freely, and feel a sense of belonging and belonging to the organization.
In the future, Horien Biotechnology will continue to deepen the DEI spirit from within, not only ensuring that employees are seen and respected within the company, but also demonstrating our welcome and support for diverse talent in our external image.
This commitment is not just for present success, but for a shared and sustainable future.
