Fushuo Technology, Minggu Precision Ceramics, Shenlai Optoelectronics, Haichang
Biochemical Technology, Shengyu Industrial, Anrun Technology, Putai Information
Technology, Jibiao Information Technology, Jiding Technology, and Boutique
Technology. The innovation and R&D projects submitted by 63 SMEs, including
Quanbo Technology, Zhihui Wireless Technology, Shangyuan Technology, Yuanlun
Home Appliances, Shengjie Industrial, Pinda Technology, Jianyi Machinery, Baoyu
Biotechnology, Heqi Industrial, Qiding Technology, Yinghaode Industrial,
Yizhuang Enterprise, Xiongfu Technology Industrial, Weige Industrial, Lixiang
Aerospace Electronics, Shanghe Culture, Enlian Technology, Yumingtai Chemical,
Daji Automotive Enterprise, Jianchun Industrial, Junkers Opto-Mechanical
Technology, Kaga Technology Industry, Qianru Electric Industry, Youshunfa
Machinery, and Yuantuo Machinery, are aimed at developing innovative
technologies and services. Through these projects, the R&D capabilities of
domestic SMEs will be significantly improved. The following are some of the
more representative projects among those approved:
The "Development of a Five-Axis Machining
Machine for Dental Imaging" project proposed by Baoyu Biotechnology Co.,
Ltd. aims to develop a small-scale five-axis machining system specifically for
dental imaging, including a machining platform, orthodontic parallel molds, and
implant guide plates CAD/CAM systems. This system will simplify the machining
process, enhance automation, improve the technological capabilities of the
domestic dental technology industry, replace imported equipment, and make the
dental imaging industry internationally competitive.
The "Development of European-Standard
Four-Wheeled Electric Motorcycles" project proposed by Heqi Industrial
Co., Ltd. aims to integrate relevant motor and battery technologies, using
modular lithium iron phosphate batteries to develop European-standard four-wheeled
electric motorcycles with advantages such as high safety, high energy storage,
light weight, fast charging, and long lifespan. This will not only stimulate
the development of electric vehicles in Taiwan but also promote the formation
of a lithium iron phosphate battery industry cluster.
Horien Biochemical Technology Co., Ltd.'s proposed
"Development of Collagen/Glucosamine Nanofiber Periodontal Regeneration
Membrane Using Electrospinning" aims to use electrospinning technology to
create collagen nanofibers for use in periodontology. This absorbable collagen
periodontal regeneration membrane guides the regeneration of periodontal
ligament tissue. Besides breaking the monopoly of international giants in
absorbable periodontal regeneration membrane technology, the project, developed
and manufactured domestically, offers significant production advantages. It
will provide Taiwanese consumers with low-priced, high-quality periodontal
regeneration membranes, improving the efficiency and effectiveness of dental
treatment.
Jingpin Technology Co., Ltd.'s proposed
"Information Leakage Prevention System Using Cloud Architecture" plan
aims to establish a DEL (Data Loss Prevention) information leakage prevention
system using SaaS (Software as a Service) network application services within a
cloud architecture. This can reduce the cost for SMEs to adopt cybersecurity
products, improve the technology of related domestic industries, accelerate the
adoption of information security system management systems, effectively lower
the barriers to entry for enterprises adopting information security systems,
and create new business opportunities for cloud information technology.
The Department of Technology, Ministry of Economic
Affairs, pointed out that the plans approved at the 140th and 141st guidance
meetings have simultaneously driven subsidized SMEs to invest over NT$170
million in R&D, and have also induced SMEs to invest more in R&D
personnel, which is expected to promote the cultivation of R&D talent and
the accumulation of R&D capabilities.
The Ministry of Economic Affairs aims to encourage
and assist domestic SMEs in actively engaging in innovative R&D through the
SBIR program, enabling SMEs to operate sustainably and grow stronger, and
further promote Taiwan's future economic development by building a complete
industrial system through R&D results. Since its inception in February
1999, the SBIR program has cumulatively approved and implemented 3,348
innovative R&D projects, with government subsidies exceeding NT$7 billion,
and has driven SMEs to invest over NT$13.1 billion in R&D. This will
greatly contribute to improving the technological level of Taiwan's SMEs,
enhancing the competitiveness of Taiwan's industries, and upgrading and
transforming traditional industries.
