38 Biomedical Products Have Been Awarded the SNQ National Quality Mark.

The Biomedical Technology Development Council (BTDC) announced the first batch of products to receive the SNQ National Quality Mark this year. 38 biomedical products from well-known manufacturers, including Abbott, Chung Tien, Hey-Song, Taisun, Ai-Chi-Wei, and United Orthopedic Devices, received awards.

Recently, reports surfaced of unscrupulous manufacturers supplying hospitals with expired bone cement, causing widespread patient anxiety. Choosing safe medical devices is therefore crucial. This year's SNQ-certified medical devices are all domestically developed products, including Horien Biochemical's "Collagen Matrix Dental Dressing," which uses a strict production and sales traceability system to ensure the safety of raw materials and products; and United Orthopedic's "Kangxi Artificial Knee Joint," which has obtained FDA approval and possesses strong international competitiveness, earning the favor of the reviewers.

In the cosmetics category, Taisun Biotechnology's "Mejisex Cleansing and Repairing Lotion" received recognition from the review committee due to its unique ingredients and comprehensive antibacterial function evaluation.

29 health food products were selected, indicating a growing trend towards liquid beverages. In modern society, people are increasingly focused on maintaining their physique, reducing stress and fatigue, and mitigating the chronic health risks associated with high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and high blood sugar. Therefore, this year's competition entries primarily feature health supplements that promote slimness, liver protection, fatigue relief, and prevention of these conditions.

Furthermore, easily absorbed and palatable liquid beverages are increasingly targeting the health supplement market. Products such as "Li Shizhen Super Four-Ingredient Iron," "Li Shizhen Green Papaya Four-Ingredient Iron," Shengji Biotechnology's "Duodeng Duomeili Drink," Heisong's "Mianji Beauty Essence Drink," Aizhiwei's "Pure Rich Oatmeal," and Green Plus's "Puli Vitality Fiber Drink," whether promoting beauty, iron, or fiber supplementation, are all offered in liquid form, catering to modern consumers' preference for quick and palatable consumption.

SNQ Nutrition and Health Supplement Review Committee member Chen Shugong stated that with over 3,000 health supplements on the market, consumers should choose carefully and avoid easily trusting unreliable advertisements or recommendations from friends and family. Products that have obtained the SNQ mark must undergo annual renewal review to ensure that their ingredients, scientific testing, and process control maintain their quality and safety, thereby promoting continuous improvement and progress in selected products and services.
