Horien Biotech officially listed on the OTC
market today at an underwriting price of NT$28.47. As of now, the stock has
reached a high of NT$32.15, a 12.9% increase. Recently, it successfully
obtained three high-risk, highest-level Class 4 medical device market licenses
in Thailand, opening the door to high-end medical devices in Southeast Asia.
Horien Biotech is expected to obtain Class
III medical device licenses in the Philippines and Vietnam soon, signifying
that its important strategic layout in the Southeast Asian market is nearing
completion. Its highly anticipated bio-ink innovative product is planned to be
officially exported to the European market by the end of this year, extending
its international footprint from Asia to Europe and America, and is expected to
see a surge in global revenue contributions.
In the research and development of high-end
innovative medical devices, Horien Biotech has achieved a disruptive
world-class breakthrough. Its independently developed "biodegradable
ureteral stent" has successfully obtained a Taiwanese invention patent and
will soon obtain invention patents in the United States, Europe, and China,
targeting a multi-billion dollars blue ocean market.
The innovative product has successfully
completed sample development and has been officially delivered for animal
testing. Since no other company in the industry has yet obtained the relevant
medical device certification, Horien Biotechnology is at the forefront
globally. This will not only solve the clinical pain point of traditional
stents requiring secondary surgery for removal, but also allow them to access a
vast, untapped market worth billions of dollars.
To meet the explosive global demand and
ensure a secure supply of high-end medical device raw materials, Horien
Biotechnology's subsidiary, Shengli Biotechnology, has officially signed
Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with Taiwan Sugar Corporation and Taiwan
Livestock Corporation, adhering to ISO 13485 (Medical Device Quality Management
System) and ISO 22442 (Risk Management of Medical Devices Using Animal Tissue),
establishing a high-standard international supply chain for medical-grade
animal-derived raw materials.
Horien Biotech Chairman Tsai Kuo-Tien
stated that Horien Biotech will continue to deepen its global market
penetration based on its existing dental and surgical channels, leveraging
top-tier medical-grade raw materials and groundbreaking high-end medical
devices and drugs. With international certifications secured and innovative
product lines entering their harvest period, Horien Biotech will achieve steady
and rapid growth, creating maximum value for all shareholders and the Taiwanese
biotech industry.
