Horien Biotech (7814-TW) was listed on the OTC
market today (16th) at NT$28.47 per share. With frequent good news from
overseas markets and a surge in revenue in June, the company defied the
weakness of the overall market and surged to a high of NT$32.15 in the morning,
with an increase of more than 10%, successfully staging a honeymoon period.
Horien Biotech opened at NT$32, reaching a high of
NT$32.15, a gain of over 10%. As of 10:30 AM, the stock was trading at
NT$30.95, up over 8%, with a trading volume of approximately 500 shares.
Benefiting from the growth in Taiwan and overseas
markets, Horien Biotech's June revenue reached NT$14.7 million, a 2.09-fold
year-on-year increase. Overseas markets have seen frequent successes, with the
company recently obtaining three high-risk medical device market licenses in
Thailand. It is also expected to obtain Class 3 medical device licenses in the
Philippines and Vietnam soon, completing its Southeast Asian market layout.
Furthermore, its innovative bio-ink products are expected to be exported to the
European market by the end of this year, further expanding its international
footprint to Europe and the United States.
In the research and development of high-end
innovative medical devices, Horien Biotech's self-developed "biodegradable
ureteral stent" has already obtained a Taiwanese invention patent and is
expected to obtain invention patents in the United States, Europe, and China
soon. In addition, collagen regeneration patches have also entered the trial
production stage.
