Horien Biotech (7814) officially listed on the OTC
market on the 16th at NT$28.45 per share. The stock price reached NT$32.15 in
early trading, a 13.01% increase, initiating a honeymoon period. Horien Biotech
Chairman Tsai Kuo-Tien stated that
the company will further deepen its global market penetration by leveraging
top-tier medical-grade raw materials and groundbreaking high-end medical
devices, building upon its existing dental and surgical channels. This is
driven by the acquisition of international certifications and the harvesting of
innovative product lines.
Horien Biotech, with its strong R&D
capabilities and deep technological barriers, has recently delivered
outstanding results in revenue performance, international certifications,
global market layout, and the implementation of a top-tier biomedical raw material
supply chain. This demonstrates the powerful momentum of its dual-engine
strategy of "deepening existing medical device development and developing
high-end innovative medical devices," attracting significant attention
from the capital market.
Driven by continued strong demand in the US,
Taiwan, and overseas markets, Horien Biotech achieved a remarkable 209.29%
revenue growth in June, marking a successful start to its OTC listing. Beyond
its strong fundamentals, Horien Biotech has made significant progress in
expanding its overseas presence.
On July 7th, Horien Biotech successfully obtained
three high-risk (Class 4, highest level) medical device market access licenses
in Thailand, gaining a foothold in the ASEAN high-end medical device market.
Furthermore, it is expected to obtain Class III medical device licenses in the
Philippines and Vietnam soon, signifying that its strategic layout in the
Southeast Asian market is nearing completion.
Moreover, the company's highly anticipated bio-ink
innovative product is planned for export to the European market by the end of
this year, extending its international footprint from Asia to Europe and
America, and anticipating a surge in global revenue contributions.
In the research and development of high-end
innovative medical devices, Horien Biotech has achieved a disruptive
world-class breakthrough. Its independently developed "biodegradable
ureteral stent" has successfully obtained a Taiwanese invention patent and
is expected to soon secure invention patents in the United States, Europe, and
China.
Currently, this innovative product has successfully
completed sample development and has been officially delivered for animal
testing. As no international competitors have yet obtained the relevant medical
device certifications, Horien Biotechnology is at the forefront globally. This
product not only addresses the clinical pain point of traditional stents
requiring secondary surgery for removal, but also targets a pristine blue ocean
market worth billions of US dollars with no competition.
Simultaneously, collagen regeneration patches
developed using the core "advanced decellularization technology,"
primarily for surgical and orthopedic tissue repair, have recently entered the
trial production stage, providing a strong profit foundation for the medium- to
long-term product line.
To meet the explosive global demand and ensure a
secure supply of high-end medical device raw materials, Horien Biotechnology's
subsidiary, Shengli Biotechnology Co., Ltd., has officially signed a Memorandum
of Understanding (MOU) and cooperation agreement with Taiwan Sugar Corporation
and Taiwan Livestock Products Import & Export Corporation, complying with ISO
13485 (Medical Device Quality Management System) and ISO 22442 (Risk Management
of Medical Devices Using Animal Tissue).
This move not only established a medical-grade
animal-derived raw material supply chain with international high standards, but
also broke the long-standing monopoly of international biomedical giants at its
root, leading Taiwan's traditional animal husbandry industry to successfully
transform into a top-tier biomedical field with added value of hundreds of
times.
