The biotech sector welcomes a new entrant, with Horien
Biotech (7814) listing on the OTC market today (16th) at NT$28.47 per share.
Fueled by strong June revenue and a thriving international presence in ASEAN
and Europe, the stock surged to a high of NT$32.15 in the morning session, a
gain of over 10%, enjoying a sweet honeymoon period.
Horien Biotech Chairman Tsai Kuo-Tien stated that the successful OTC listing is a significant milestone
for the company. Moving forward, building on its existing dental and surgical
channels, the company will continue to deepen its global market penetration
through top-grade medical-grade raw materials and groundbreaking high-end
medical devices and drugs. With international certifications secured and
innovative product lines entering their harvest period, Horien Biotech aims to
create maximum value for all shareholders and the Taiwanese biotech industry
through steady and rapid growth.
Driven by continued strong demand in the US,
Taiwan, and overseas markets, Haichang Biotech delivered a remarkable 209.29%
revenue increase in June. In addition to its strong fundamentals, the company
has also made breakthrough progress in its overseas expansion.
Horien Biotech recently obtained three high-risk
(Class 4, highest level) medical device market access licenses in Thailand,
successfully entering the ASEAN high-end medical device market. Furthermore,
the Philippines and Vietnam are also expected to obtain Class III medical
device licenses soon, signifying that its important strategic layout in the
Southeast Asian market is nearing completion.
Horien Biotech's highly anticipated bio-ink
innovative product is also planned for official export to the European market
by the end of this year, extending its international footprint from Asia to
Europe and America, and is expected to see significant growth in global revenue
contributions.
In the research and development of high-end
innovative medical devices, Horien Biotech's independently developed
"biodegradable ureteral stent" has successfully obtained a Taiwanese
invention patent. Since no other company in the industry has obtained relevant
medical device certifications at present, it is expected to face a pure blue
ocean market worth billions of US dollars with no competition. In addition, its
advanced decellularization technology has recently successfully entered the
trial production stage.
