Horien Biotech (7814) will be listed on the OTC
market on July 15th. Alongside the listing announcement, the company recently
announced further good news: it has successfully obtained three Class 4 medical
device marketing authorizations from the Thai Food and Drug Administration
(TFDA), marking another step forward in its expansion into the Southeast Asian
market.
Horien Biotech announced consolidated revenue of
NT$14.753 million in June, a year-on-year increase of 209.29%; cumulative
revenue for the first half of the year was NT$48.237 million, a year-on-year
increase of 55.78%. The company stated that with the increasing penetration
rate of its core technologies in regenerative medicine and clinical
applications, shipments of its core products are experiencing explosive growth,
resulting in strong operational momentum.
In addition to revenue growth, Horien Biotech has
also made new progress in its expansion into the Southeast Asian market. The
company stated that it recently received notification from the Thai Food and
Drug Administration (TFDA) that its three core products—Horien Extracellular
Membrane, Horien Collagen Bone Graft Matrix, and Horien Collagen Matrix—have
all passed review and obtained the highest-level Class 4 medical device
marketing authorization in Thailand.
These three approved product technologies all
specialize in tissue regeneration and clinical wound repair. The Horien
Extracellular Membrane is specifically designed to guide bone and tissue
regeneration and is suitable for periodontal defect healing and bone
reconstruction. The Horien Collagen Bone Graft Matrix is used to
fill periodontal and maxillofacial bone defects, accelerating bone tissue
healing and alveolar bone reconstruction. The Horien Collagen Matrix is specifically
designed for the care of localized superficial wounds, traumatic injuries, or
surgical wounds, providing auxiliary hemostasis when conventional hemostasis is
ineffective.
Horien Biotech pointed out that Thailand is a core
market for medical aesthetics and high-end medical care in Southeast Asia. This
successful acquisition of the highly challenging Class 4 market access license
is not only an international affirmation of Horien Biotechnology's R&D
capabilities and superior manufacturing quality, but it will also immediately
translate into substantial orders for the Thai market, significantly boosting
future revenue.
Horien Biotechnology General Manager Ho Hsin-Yu stated that the recent strong revenue performance and the acquisition
of the high-end medical device certification in Thailand give the company full
confidence in promoting Taiwan's regenerative medicine technology to a wider
international stage, creating maximum value for shareholders.
